Inspirována výmluvností barokního tance, energií hudby Antonína Reichenauera a krásou barokního sochařství vytváří Andrea Miltnerová novou choreografii jako oslavu mládí, tance a hudby s deseti studentkami tance z České republiky a Německa a renomovaným souborem Musica Florea pod vedením Marka Štryncla.

Projekt se zrodil z Andreiny touhy podělit se o svou vášeň a znalost barokního tance s novou generací tanečníků a tanečnic, z nichž mnozí neměli předchozí zkušenosti s tímto žánrem ani základní povědomí o bohatém kulturním dědictví střední Evropy z období baroka. A také ukázat jim i veřejnosti, že barokní tanec není jen fascinující historickou taneční formou, která patří minulosti, ale že může být dnes stejně aktuální a silný jako jakýkoli současný taneční styl.

Projekt se zrodil z Andreiny touhy podělit se o svou vášeň a znalost barokního tance s novou generací tanečníků a tanečnic, z nichž mnozí neměli předchozí zkušenosti s tímto žánrem ani základní povědomí o bohatém kulturním dědictví střední Evropy z období baroka. A také ukázat jim i veřejnosti, že barokní tanec není jen fascinující historickou taneční formou, která patří minulosti, ale že může být dnes stejně aktuální a silný jako jakýkoli současný taneční styl.
Projekt také představoval skvělou příležitost pro přeshraniční spolupráci. Z iniciativy producentky Šárky Pavelkové (ProFitArt) byli k účasti přizváni studentky z Prahy a Norimberku, aby navázaly a posílily kulturní a osobní vazby mezi regiony Čech a Bavorska, jejichž umělecké a hospodářské dějiny se po staletí tak úzce prolínaly.
Andrea a Marek by take rádi upozornili na nádhernou hudbu Antonína Reichenauera (asi 1694 – 17. března 1730), skladatele působícího v Čechách na počátku 18. století.

Andrea Miltnerová, Marek Štryncl and his Musica Florea Ensemble and students of dance from the Duncan Centre (Prague) and the Mind And Dance School (Nuremberg)
Inspired by the eloquence of baroque dance, the energy of Antonín Reichenauer’s music and the beauty of baroque sculpture, Andrea Miltnerová is in the process of creating a contemporary celebration of youth, dance and music with ten students of dance from the Czech Republic and Germany and Marek Štryncl’s renowned Musica Florea.
Inspired by the eloquence of baroque dance, the energy of Antonín Reichenauer’s music and the beauty of baroque sculpture, Andrea Miltnerová is in the process of creating a contemporary celebration of youth, dance and music with ten students of dance from the Czech Republic and Germany and Marek Štryncl’s renowned Musica Florea.

The project was born out of Andrea’s desire to share her passion for and knowledge of baroque dance with a new generation of dancers, many of whom had no previous experience of the genre or fundamental awareness of central Europe’s rich cultural heritage of the baroque period and to show both them and the public that baroque dance is not merely a fascinating historic dance form which belongs to the past, but that it can be as relevant and powerful today as any contemporary dance style.

The project also presented a wonderful opportunity for cross border cooperation. On the initiative of producer Šárka Pavelková (ProFitArt), students from Prague and Nuremberg were invited to take part to establish and strengthen cultural and personal ties between the regions of Bohemia and Bavaria whose artistic and economic history have been so closely intertwined over the centuries.
Andrea and Marek also wished to draw attention to the wonderful music of Antonín Reichenauer (c. 1694 – 17th March 1730) a composer active in Bohemia at the beginning of the 18th century.
